REALITY
Saturday, February 4th, 2006Lying down on my comfy bed,
Being stunned by the mesmerizing sunset,
The sky has been painted orange red,
And it’s time to get up to my closet.
Anxiousness has surrounded my soul,
That can make my feet go tip-toes,
My heart feels like melting down,
As I dress up in the silky white gown.
Today would be my splendid day,
Warmly welcomed by the bloomed roses in May,
The elegant gown has made me swirl in the air,
As I walk gracefully down the red carpet stairs.
Sound of applause has hit my eardrums,
Flashes of light has blinded my eyes,
Smile is the only thing that comes to mind,
As my legs have frozen to ice.
Comfortably I sat down on the chair,
All eyes are nailed on my tiny fingers,
I see a few ‘lovely birds’ are sitting in pairs,
And my mind has raced back to the past few years.
Thinking of someone I’ve missed dearly,
That we have last met yearly,
Those were the days when we shared the secret,
The days when romance nestled in my heart.
Being hit back to reality by a whisper,
Gracefully I press the keys on the ‘Piano Winter’,
Playing my masterpiece that titled ‘The Mirror’
And the tune sounds from C major to A minor.
Heart being shattered to pieces,
Pearl of tears travel from Venus,
Every happiness has to end in one way,
And I choose my song to end, in the most memorable day.

Friends and family are my Wonders,
They are as beautiful as the summer flowers,
Thanks for accompanying me to travel across the ocean,
Coz’ you all mean just a heaven.
